If you have a blog site and your friend too but your friend getting more traffic on their blog than you. Ya, it feels bad when you don't get traffic to your website. As I have told in the previous article more traffic, more revenue. If your website drives more traffic then you earn more money. There are many websites that drive more than lakhs of traffic per month. 

Driving traffic to your website is not so easy. You have to do SEO to rank your website and drive more traffic. SEO is also not easy. There are many SEO experts and paid SEO service online tools available that will rank your website and drive traffic to your website.

If you have a blog site and if you get more views to your blog then AdSense will pay your more money, if you have an e-commerce site and if you get more visitors, they will buy your products and you will get more profit. You have heard about Amazon it is an e-commerce site. Amazon drives more than 2.5 billion monthly visits. 

Did people use to search - how to increase revenue to our website? how to grow traffic to the website? how to get 50 thousand views per month? how to get more visitors per month? how do get hundreds of views per day? 

So, when I have started blogging I just google how to grow traffic to our website? But as I have searched in all social media platforms I saw many ways which can drive hundreds of views per day. At first, I am getting 10 to 15 views per day but by using some ways I am getting 500+ views per day. So, listed below are some ways to drive more traffic to your website.

Note: The way I am sharing with you will not give you traffic in lakhs per month or thousands of views per day easily. It may take some time and your hard work. 

There are many bloggers and business owners who have their websites and they are generating backlinks for their website to drive more traffic. Generating backlinks is not so difficult way. Generating backlinks helps you a lot to get more visitors to your website. I have put this way first because it's the best way I found till now. I generate 2 backlinks for my blog and it helps me a lot to grow visitors. Let's see what are backlinks and how you can generate them.

What are Backlinks?

Backlinks are the links that drive any other website traffic to our website. For ex: if you have created a backlink on any other site, the visitors of that website will also visit your website. Ya, I know it's interesting. Let's see how you can generate it.

How to Generate Backlinks?

So, there are many websites that gets millions of traffic per month. But for generating backlinks I recommend these 3 websites - Pinterest, Medium & Quora. You all have heard about that websites. But before going ahead let me tell you how backlink works?

How Backlinks Works? For ex: if you have written one article and published it on your website. Your article is on the topic of how to make pasta? Now, after you have published your article you have to go to Pinterest and make a pin of your article with a blog post template and write a short description like For making pasta you have to..... . And then share the link on your article that is published on your website. Now, visitors will see your pin and visit the article that you have shared and you will get more traffic.

Now, let's come back to how you can generate backlinks. I will take an example of Medium site. Medium has more than 100 million monthly visitors. I recommend you generate a backlink on this site.

1. Go to Medium

2. Sign Up using your Google Account 

3. At the top right corner click on your profile picture

4. After clicking on the profile picture, click on write a story

5. Enter the title of your article or product 

6. Write half of the article or product description and write learn more if you have a blog and share your blog link or if you have an e-commerce site then write buy now and share your product link.

So, what happens to Medium has too many visitors they will see your story and click on your website link. So you will get more traffic. 

Advertising your website is also a good way to drive traffic. There are many ad networks available for advertising your website.
