1. Disable Location Service


So, when installing and opening any app they tell us to allow all permissions like calls, location, etc..., and in speed, we allow all permissions. In all apps, they ask for location permission and we allow it. However, apps are using location service and that location service will make battery drain. So, let's see how you'll disable it. 


Go to settings > privacy > location service and disable it or set it on while using the app.


Whenever you install any app don't allow location service access or allow it and then go to settings and set I on while using the app. 


2. Enable Dark Mode


Nowadays, all phones have dark mode features and iOS 14 also has. There are two benefits of using dark mode. 1} Your eyes will free comfortable while using. 2} It will save your battery. Let's enable it.

 

Go to settings > display and brightness > click on dark mode 


3. Turn On Low Power Mode


So this is another solution for the battery health dropping out the problem. Using low power mode helps to save battery life by reducing power consumption. It will turn off all background app refresh, automatic download and mail fetch. It will improve your mobiles battery life by adding more than 2 to 3 hours. Let's turn it on. 


Go to settings > battery > turn on low power mode


4. Turn Off Raise to Wake


If you want to save battery then you have to turn off this Raise to Wake feature. The raise to Wake feature automatically turn on the screen when you face towards the screen. What happens you have hold mobile in your hand and when you raise it the screen turns on and the battery will drain. So if you want to save battery make sure you turn it off. 


Go to settings > display and brightness > turn off raise to wake 


5. Keep Low Brightness


If you are not using your mobile then whenever you keep it make sure you make your iPhone brightness low. Low brightness helps your mobile to not to drain the battery. Mostly 10% of your mobile battery drains just because of higher brightness levels. Make sure you keep it low when not using your phone.

6. Turn Off Background App Refresh

Background App Refresh check for new content in the app by automatically refreshing it. Show whenever you open any app its ready with new updates. This feature is good but it drains the battery. Let's turn it off to save battery life.


Go to settings > general > background app refresh > turn it off


7Place iPhone Face Down


If you're not using your mobile then place it handset face down. iPhone will detect this place and will not turn on the display. This helps your iPhone to improve its battery life.


8. Limit Notifications 


Turning off notifications of the apps you don't need most helps you to save your battery life. When you get notifications the display will automatically turn on and that drains your battery.


So let's turn off notifications of app.


Go to settings > notifications > choose app that you don't want it's notification, click on it and disable allow the notification.


9. Disable Fitness Tracking


This feature helps you to track your daily fitness activities like walking, running, and many more by motion coprocessor. Motion coprocessor helps to detect your activity accurately. 


This feature uses an additional battery so if you are not doing any activities and not using this feature, it's good to disable it. Let's disable it.


Go to settings > privacy > motion and fitness > disable fitness tracking 


10. Check for Software Update


Make sure your device is up-to-date. Many times what happens, if there is any update available and you haven't downloaded it then there will be some bugs like battery draining and more. Every time check for any updates. Let's see how to check for updates.


Go to settings > general > software update.


If there is any update available make sure you will update as soon as possible.
