Todays, many people used to search that How can I speed up my WordPress blog? How to speed up WordPress web page? How to fast your site of WordPress? etc.. .

If your WordPress site takes a lot of time to load, then this post is very useful to you. I have many friends complaining that show ways that can speed my WordPress blog, and open within a second. So, I have been researching about this and I have found some useful ways that can speed up the performance.

1. Delete Unused Plugins and Themes 

You should always keep your plugins and themes upto date. If you have stored some unused plugins and themes, it will be 80% reason why it takes much time to load your site. Plugins and themes have much storage. Let's see how you can clean it.

This is a simple way to remove it:

To Delete unused Themes:

                    Go to Appearance > Themes. Delete the unused themes.

To Delete unused Plugins:

To clean unused plugins, you have to first deactivate it. Then, go to inactivate and delete the ones you don't want.

This method will help you lot but if you don't have any unused plugins or themes, don't worry there are  more methods below.

2. Limit Comments Per Page

Getting a lot of comments is good, it makes your blog impression better but a lot number of comments can slow down your site. Do not off comments but just limit them to a particular number. This method will help you to boost page. Let's see how you can limit the comment.

To limit the comments:

                 Go to Settings > Discussion and check "Break comments into pages". Now you can limit your number of comments. The default comments are 50.

3. Use CDN

Obviously, you don't know that your visitors is from which state and country. You don't know this that the site loading speed will be different if the visitors is far away from where you host your site. In this situation, I prefer you to use CDN (Content Delivery Network), it will help you to keep your site speed minimum for all visitors. 

There are many CDN available, but some of good ones I suggest - Cloudflare, KeyCDN, StackPath.

4. Optimize Images

Optimizing Images is the another best way to speed up your site. Sometimes the massive .png files will make slow load your site. There are many image optimizer available but I prefer Squoosh. This is the best image optimizer and one the amazing thing I feel that this app optimize the image without loss in quality. 

But, if you want to optimize all your images automatically as you are uploading them to WordPress. Then, go for this plugin Smush.
